Attorney Biography

Eric Baldwin’s law practice focuses on family law, estate planning, probates, and a varitey of issues for individuals and families in Southwest Idaho

Originally from Rexburg, Idaho, Eric attended Ricks College (known now as BYU-Idaho) where he focused his studies on Geology and Political Science.  After Ricks College Eric continued his studies at Idaho State University, graduating with a degree in Geology.

Eric always had a desire to practice law, so it did not take long after graduating from Idaho State University for Eric to head off to Michigan State University to study law.  While at MSU Eric served as an associate editor of the Journal of Medicine and Law and was a member of the Environmental Law Society.  Eric’s desire to focus his practice on Family Law came as result of him working with a family law attorney while he was in law school.

Eric enjoyed his three years of law school in Michigan, however, he missed the mountain landscape of Idaho so it was an easy decision for him to return to Idaho to clerk for the Honorable Dennis E. Goff in Caldwell, Idaho.  During Eric’s two-year clerkship with Judge Goff he was exposed to variety of legal matters.  After Judge Goff retired, Eric went to work at Lovan Roker, P.C. in Caldwell, Idaho.  While at Lovan Roker, P.C. Eric represented clients in an array of legal issues.  After seven years with Lovan Roker, P.C. Eric moved his law practice to Meridian, Idaho and founded Baldwin Law, PLLC.

Eric is fluent in English and Spanish.  Outside the practice of law Eric is an avid cyclist, motorcyclist, and fly fisherman.
